Hello! I’m back from an incredible week in New York! The Big Apple was certainly impressive. Before I tell you guys what I got up to, I want to thank all of you who emailed, tweeted and facebooked tips and advice. All of it was so helpful and really made my trip more enjoyable, so cheers!
I arrived at lunch time and made my way straight to the hotel, which was quite compact but really nice and right in the middle of Manhattan. We went straight to Top of the Rock to view the whole city which was a brilliant decision. Then the next day we took a tour around the whole city so that we got a feel for where everything was. The whole week was spent eating in some delicious restaurants; Shake Shack, Maoz, Rocco’s, The Spotted Pig and Five Guys and sightseeing; Central Park, The Met and MOMA.
One of my favourite days was when we got on the Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty, then we took a picnic from Dean and Deluca to Washington Square Park and sat listening to the grand piano while dipping our feet in the fountain. The night was topped off by cocktails in The Palace and a bite to eat in the famous Le Bernardin….perfection!
I took a few photos of different outfits I wore during the week, so I’ll be sharing them all with you. Also, I’m doing a little giveaway soon so watch this space.
